(New York -WABC, March 10, 2005) — A runaway canine turned New York rush hour into "grit your teeth" chaos on Thursday. It turns out that "Snoopy" simply wanted to go home, running away from family members who were dog-sitting him at their place. Snoopy's family watched on television, along with everyone else, as the dog chase brought on some heart-stopping moments. Ken Baez says he was at work when his brother called to tell him to turn on the television. He called his wife, then turned on the news just, he says, as their dog was being clipped by a car.
