Sometimes I have to get after my genious Siberian Husky, double fur coat and all, as she goes out through the doggy door and stretches out full in the sun to take a nap. Researchers, using gene therapy, have been able to restore vision to some blind dogs afflicted with a very specific, limited genetic deficiency, and with great hope that soon the technique will be available for humans with similar problems. A real win/win!
