IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Every week after sending out this newsletter I receive a whole bunch of virus-infected messages. They're coming from some of you, my beloved subscribers. Once these viruses have infected your computer, they find other people's email addresses on your computer (like mine, for example) and use your computer to send their poison to those addresses. The most common one recently has a message about Snow White plus an attached file which ends in .exe. Opening that .exe (or *any* .exe file attached to an email message) is the kiss of death. Such a message should go straight to your trash box. Once you open the attached file, you're infected and you'll infect your friends and associates. I can't stress enough how important it is to have a good anti-virus program operating on your computer ... there are several ... the two I'm familiar with are Norton Anti-Virus from www.symantec.com and McAfee Anti-Virus from www.mcafee.com.
