If you and your dog are into vitamin supplements, here's an authortative guide on what and how much to give to Fido. Breeding your dog is not something to do on a lark, for your kids' education, to make a few dollars (it's usually a losing proposition) or any other half-baked reason. It should be a serious hobby or responsible business (and I don't consider a puppy mill to be a responsible business). And no one can be in a serious hobby or responsible business without doing some extensive homework first. Many folks don't realize that purebred dogs have, by definition, a limited gene pool, and thus great chance for serious genetic-based diseases. PLEASE, don't consider breeding your dog without taking it VERY seriously. A good starting point, and I mean only starting point, is the Breeding Your Dog FAQ at rec.pets.dogs.
