TIP REVISITED: One reader wrote that my tip last week (to put a rubber band around your dog's tags to keep them from jingling) was not a good idea because his puppy eat's everything in sight and rubber band's are NOT recommended in your dog's diet. Here's another idea, if you have only two tags...cement them together, back to back, with some contact cement.

I get a lot of inquiries at breeders.NET from folks looking for breeders of things like "Schnoodle", "Labradoodle" and "Yorkie-poo"...hybrid dogs. My policy is to list only breeds that have been developed to the point where adults of the hybrid have produced offspring in a sustainable breeding program. I know some of you may disagree with that policy, but we had to draw a line somewhere and that's where we drew it.

We present this week an interesting and apparently objective article on the controversy surrounding these hybrids.
