When I'm trying to educate myself about a product, I'm very careful about relying on information written by the people who make or sell it...it's hard to know how objective they are. Purina, that huge pet food company, has some really good stuff on their web site, and I never get the feeling that they're trying to sell me something. Here's a serious and apparently objective in-depth article on Nutrients in Pet Foods. Now don't take this as an endoresement of their products...I'm neutral on the subject...it's up to you to get informed and make your own decisions about what to feed your dog, just as you would for yourself and your family.
