IMPORTANT MESSAGE from The Straight Poop

Virus protection: I know you don't expect to find computer advice in The Straight Poop, but with all the recent computer virus damage, I want to pass along a suggestion for you Windows 95/98 users that could save you a heap of trouble. It will make it impossible for some of these viruses to use your machine to do their nasty work. If you do not need Visual Basic Hosting (and you would likely know if you did), just follow these simple steps:

1- click on Start on the bottom toolbar
2- click on Settings
3- click on Control panel
4- click on Add/Remove programs
5- click on the Windows Setup tab
6- click on Accessories
7- click on Details
8- uncheck Windows Scripting Host if it is checked
9- click "ok" twice
10- close the Control Panel window by
clicking on the 'x' in the upper right corner

If by any chance after you do this something doesn't work right, you can undo it by repeating the process, this time checking the Windows Scripting Host box.
