It's just a bad joke, though, because despite their nuisance value, teenagers are great! Case in point... Abby, a thirteen year old, has decided, as a community service related to her Bat Mitzah, to bake and sell high quality, customized (with your puppy's name engraved on them) dog cookies to raise $500 for Adopt-a-Dog, a first-rate Connecticut rescue organization. Maybe you'd like to get some great treats for your little one and help a terrific young lady help a worthwhile organization at the same time. You can read more at Abby's web site. Nonna and I have just returned from a wonderful working holiday in beautiful Southern California. | Featured Rescue Site: SC P.A.W. http://www.scpaw.org SC P.A.W. - University of Southern California People for Animal Welfare - is a group of USC students, staff and faculty who came together to try to help the many abandoned and neglected animals on and around the campus. They don't have a shelter, but instead, put their animals in temporary foster homes or kennels until they can find the a loving, permanent home. Learn more about this find organization, its work and its needs. Editor's Note: I'm an alum of USC's crosstown and, at least athletically, bitter rival, UCLA.
