Kuranda Dog Beds.

What our customers say:
"I just thought I would write and thank you for making your wonderful Kuranda bed! It was so easy to put together, it took me no time at all, and before I had even tied the lambs wool bed pad in place, Harrison had climbed on and made himself comfortable! He is sleeping as I write this. I heard about the 'Kuranda Experience' from the 'The Straight Poop', and I've been looking forward to being able to give Harrison a warm, comfortable and supportive bed. He is extremely happy with it! Thank you again, Kuranda. Bye for now, Emma Evans"

A Word From Frank:

I guess it's the year of the big guys... The 2004 Westminster Kennel Club's Best In Show Trophy was awarded to "Ch Darbydale's All Rise Pouchcove," a.k.a. "Josh," a Newfoundland. Read all about it.

The internet seems to have more and more bad guys all the time. A few tips to help you stay out of trouble:
Frank Fleischer
(1) Don't open an email attachment unless you know exactly what it is and expect to receive it. Knowing the sender isn't good enough... there are some bad viruses out there that will send you a message (likely with a virus attached) from a friend's computer without your friend even knowing about it. Make sure the sender has told you s/he is sending the attachment and what it's about.

(2) Be sure you have an antivirus program installed and active on your computer, and keep it up to date. There are several good ones available, either free or very inexpensive. If you need one, GO RIGHT NOW to Google, search for anti-virus, get one and install it. And keep it up to date!

(3) Be extremely careful if you receive a message that looks like it's from PayPal, your bank or other financial institution asking you to update your info. If they ask you to enter your credit card or debit card number, it's most likely a scam and should be avoided.

See you next time. Wishing you a warm puppy 'til then.
Frank

Featured Website: The Dog

http://www.lookd.com/dogs/

A well written, interesting and informative essay about the dog, sort of summing up what most of us already know but leading to some warm nods of the head in agreement. You'll like it. Some good links, too.

Dog Health & Nutrition: Interpreting Pet Food Labels

http://www.fda.gov/cvm/index/consumer/petlabel.htm

Most of have fallen into the "fast food" trap, not reading (or trying to understand) labels before we put stuff in our mouths. Shame on us. But double shame on us if we don't do it for out pets, because they have no say-so in the matter. This takes a little work to digest (no pun intended), but it's an official information statment from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on how to interpret pet food labels. Let me quote from the summary at very end of the statment: "Pet owners and veterinary professionals have a right to know what they are feeding their animals. The pet food label contains a wealth of information, if one knows how to read it. Do not be swayed by the many marketing gimmicks or eye-catching claims."
