Kuranda Dog Beds.

What our customers say:
"Having recently ordered and received 8 Kuranda beds for our small 8-run rescue I and the rest of the volunteers are amazed at how they have changed the dogs' dispositions. All they want to do is lie around! No more dog fights, just a bunch of lazy dogs hanging out on their beds. At feeding time one of the dogs hangs her head over the side of the bed to eat her food! I was a doubting Thomas for awhile but your beds are the best thing to happen to our kennel." Jane Galvin, Big Canoe Animal Rescue.

A Word From Frank:

Are you really taking good care of your dog? Let's not forget that they're totally dependent on us for their food, shelter, health and well-being. We took them away from nature and made pets out of them, and in doing so, we let them forget how to survive on their own. Let's never forget that a dog is like a little baby, needing us through their entire lives.
Frank Fleischer
The great thing about it, though, is that every ounce of energy we put into taking good care of our dogs comes back to us as tons and tons of uninhibited love. They look at you with those big eyes as though you were their whole life? Why? Because you ARE their whole life. Let's return as much of that love as we can. Let's brush their teeth, learn about good canine nutrition, make sure they are properly trained, give them plenty of exercise, not let them roam, pay regular visits to the vet, and just use some good sense about taking care of our very best friends.

See you next time. Wishing you a warm puppy 'til then.
Frank

Dog Activities and Training: The Life and Death of an Untrained Dog

http://www.petrescue.com/library/untrained-dog.htm

For years I've been saying that dog obedience training classes are much more for teaching the owner than the dog. This personal account from an untrained dog emphasizes the point that if we want to have a dog who is a pleasure to have as a member of the family, we have to train it in an intelligent way, and that dog ownership has important responsibilities that go with it.
