I love this story. A train engineer trips over his faithful dog while getting up one morning and falls flat on his face, breaks a shoelace while getting dressed, burns his toast while making breakfast, has a flat tire and then gets a speeding ticket on the way to work, finally gets there and someone's in his parking place.

He and the fireman climb up into the locomotive, start it up, get out on the main line and get it up to full speed. Then he looks down the tracks and sees another train coming at him in the opposite direction, full speed on the same tracks. He turns to the fireman and says, "Did you ever have one of those days when everything went wrong?"

It's been that way around here lately, with more than our share of computer viruses, spam, changes not working out right (you know, Murphy's Law -- if something can go wrong, it will). But we keep a smile on our face and keep on plugging.
